Best Book Releases for Summer 2024

As the biggest growing genre in books we are receiving so many fantastic new romantasy books to dive into all the time!  So, to keep you up to date, we are going to post about some upcoming releases we are excited about!

Leather and Lark by Brynne Weaver

Expected: June 4, 2024

The long-awaited sequel to the popular dark romance, Butcher & Blackbird, and it promises to be just as captivating as its predecessor.  This is the second book in the ‘Ruinous Love Trilogy’ and I cannot express how excited I am to have this in my hands.

This book tropes are enemies to lovers, forced proximity and marriage-pact – say less!??!

The Princess and the Pack

by Fallon English

Expected: June 28, 2024

The first in a new series about werewolf packs, destiny and romance.  Princess Ivy and Prince Cillian have been fated since birth. Ivy has always known that one day, she must leave her country to become not only Cillian’s bride, but Namara’s future Queen.  As an Omega and a princess, her life revolves around duty; not the dream that she harbors of life-altering love. Her station dictates she deny Nature’s call for a pack of her own. Instead, she must wed and settle for one - and only one - Alpha to preserve their pristine, royal bloodlines.  But fate has other plans in mind for Princess Ivy. Plans that involve not just her Betrothed, but his best friend and Ivy’s childhood nemesis - a nobleman, and the handsome son of the Royal Gardener.

Reckless by Lauren Roberts

Expected: July, 4 2024

The book I have been buzzing like a bee for, Reckless!  The sequel to the TikTok sensation Powerless comes packed with more action, forbidden romance and excitement. After surviving the Purging Trials, Ordinary-born Paedyn Gray has killed the King, and kickstarted a Resistance throughout the land. Now she’s running from the one person she had wanted to run to. Kai Azer is now Ilya’s Enforcer, loyal to his brother Kitt, the new King. He has vowed to find Paedyn and bring her to justice.  Across the deadly Scorches, and deep into the hostile city of Dor, Kai pursues the one person he wishes he didn’t have to. But in a city without Elites, the balance between the hunter and hunted shifts – and the battle between duty and desire is deadly.

Amethyst Kingdom by A.K. Mulford

Expected: June 5, 2024

The finale to one of the best romantasy series (in my opinion!).  The stunning conclusion features Carys taking part in the trials to become Queen of the Eastern Court but when her ex-boyfriend and fated match appears to also take part Carys has more than just the challenge for the crown to worry about.
When incandescent hearts rekindle for a second chance at destined love, Carys must learn to let her lingering past go in order to protect her kingdom, the people she cares for, and fight for hope … if not, everything could collapse into ashes.

*Myself and Liz will forever gush about how incredible this series is!!

*And Me, Luna, am left out and have promised them, I will read this series…or else…help. lol

The End Crowns All by Bea Fitzgerald

Expected: July 18, 2024

This is the second Greek-mythology retelling from Bea Fitzgerald after her success of Girl, Goddess, Queen.  The End Crowns All is a sapphic romance story packed with action, politics and prophecy.
When Cassandra’s patron god, Apollo, offers her the gift of prophecy – and all the power that comes with it – she seizes the opportunity. But when she fails to uphold her end of the agreement, she discovers just how very far she has to fall. No one believes her visions. Which all seem to be of one girl – and she’s going to start a war.Helen fled Sparta in pursuit of love – though that’s proving more elusive than she’d hoped. Far from home, Helen’s navigating all the politics and backstabbing of the Trojan court. And one princess seems particularly intent on driving her from the city. . .

These are just a select few that I am really excited about and cannot wait to read.  Let us know of any other releases you think we should be reading!
